Laguna MotoGP 2006 - check your insurance
Well, the 2nd MotoGP visit to Laguna is just about here, and we are getting ready to travel down for the experience.
This is at a really busy period for the riders, 4 races in 5 weekends, so we hope the riders escape from the German GP undamaged!
Rossi and Melandri are amazingly back on top form, with Capirossi getting better all the time.
In the meantime, I'm sure Nicky Hayden will be looking to take the top honors again at his home race, and further extend his championship lead.
Laguna has had some safety changes after last year, which seems not to have impressed the implacable Doug Chandler - so we have to hope that the riders will find it all to their liking when free practice starts Friday morning.
If you are riding this year, remember that bikes have their own entry route, which should ease congestion. Remember that Highway Patrol will be watching all routes leading to, and from Laguna - so don't give them an easy ticket!
Before leaving check that your insurance is valid and relates properly to your current bike and it's value and condition. A couple of years back there was a spate of thefts of and from bikes at Laguna - so be sure to make that call before you leave!
