Insurance Savings can prove false economy....
I was reminded of the dangers of under-insuring the other day when I heard about a friend of a friend who is in hospital after wrecking his bike.
Not thinking about his own broken and bleeding body, he is mainly concerned that his new 1000cc superbike did not have collision coverage as when he bought it as he thought he could not afford it!
Hindsight is always very precious - but think about how you would feel if your pride and joy turns to dust.....
The same thing goes for theft coverage - you are much more at risk in a urban city area than a much more private country location. That is statistically speaking of course......the odds are just different.
Can you afford to insure your motorcycle?
Can you afford not to?
Safe riding

What a tragedy. I heard about things like this all the time, you buy a bike you can't really afford to take care of. Nice bikes always jack up the price of motorcycle insurance, but you can take safety classes, join associations, and maintain a good driving record to reduce your rate. When it comes down to it, I don't think having a bike you can't insure is worth it when your looking at a bent frame, or worse.
