Heat and safety

There's no doubt in my mind that riding in the extreme heat that some states experience can affect rider's comfort, concentration and safety.

It's funny, because in England where I come from, we dream of riding on hot days.

But I'm writing this today when it's close to 110F here in Northern California, and it's plain unpleasant when you are moving, and worse when you stop! Then you consider clothing and protective gear that many regard is a requirement. Tat just increases the heat another level.

My Suggestion
The best protection-compromise for riding in the heat is the Bohn Bodyguard Cool-Air system which you can wear under jeans, and under a T shirt on top.
